GEORGE AMISSAH, JNR. the Managing Partner of the firm holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the prestigious University of Ghana and was admitted to the Ghana Bar in 1992.

A lawyer and a notary public, George possesses over two decades of legal practice at the Ghana Bar.

He began his legal career as a pupil with Gaisie Zwennes Hughes and Co., Takoradi and moved to Laryea, Laryea & Co., Accra in 1994 as a legal associate and worked as part of the team offering legal advice to and representing a variety of corporate and individual clients.

He joined Bram Larbi, Beecham & Co. as an Associate in 1996 and became a Partner at Acquah-Sampson & Associates in 2003. George offered legal advice on various areas of law such as banking and finance, corporate law, commercial law, international bilateral and multilateral transactions and international law among others. 

His areas of specialization include corporate and investment law, banking and finance law, international business law, corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers & acquisition, family law, immigration law, employment and labour related law among others.

He has acted as Company Secretary for a number of financial institutions including Adehyeman Savings and Loans Company Limited and is currently a member of the board to City Car Parks Limited, JDC Financial Services Limited and also a Council Member of Apex University College (a tertiary institution).

George is also a member of the Ghana Football Association’s Appeals Committee and has served on that committee since 2006.

EMMANUEL AUGUSTUS AMISSAH has had over 15 years working experience as a Legal Practitioner having been called to the Ghana Bar in October 1995.

He is currently the Group Head, Legal of CDH Financial Holdings Limited which has four subsidiaries namely CDH Asset Management Limited, CDH Securities Limited, CDH Commodities Limited and Ivory Finance Company Limited.

He previously worked as an Associate and Senior Associate respectively with Kwaku Kyeremateng & Company and Ghartey & Ghartey, both law firms in Accra.

He joined AB & David (formerly General Law Consult) as a Senior Associate and rose to become a Partner (Non-Equity), where he headed the Commercial Litigation & ADR Group as well as the Property & Real Estate practice groups of the firm.

Emmanuel had a brief stint at Scancom Limited (operators of MTN Ghana) as the Senior Manager, Site Acquisitions from September 2008 to March 2010 and was ultimately responsible for the Company’s expansion drive with regards to acquisition of sites for telecommunication masts all over the country.

He has also been the in-house Counsel for Facol Roads Limited, a road furnishing and maintenance Company from 1997 till joining the CDH Group in March 2010.

On extracurricular and social activities Emmanuel is the President of SANTA 87 (Adisadel College Old Boys Association 1987 Year Group). He is the Director and Secretary of Changing Lives Endowment Fund (CLEF) a non-for-profit organisation sponsoring brilliant but needy children through secondary and tertiary institutions.

He is the Assistant Registrar of Anglican Diocese of Cape Coast and worships with Christ Anglican Church, University of Ghana, Legon.

Nii Kwatei is a graduate of the University of Ghana Business School as well as the Ghana School of Law. Over the past year, he has developed the skill in court room advocacy handling in addition to the general practice, dispute resolution and debt recovery. SAM CRENTSIL has a Law degree from University of Wolverhampton, Masters in Commercial Law from Cardiff University, a qualified Barrister and Solicitor admitted to practice law in Ghana.

Sam is an enterprising young man with diverse knowledge in Insurance, Personal Injury Claims, Real Estate and Construction. He brings to the firm, experiences gained from his time at Cordner Lewis Solicitors in Cardiff Wales as well as that from his Banking, Insurance and Real Estate Background.

MRS.CHRISTINE ASIEDU-SAFORO is an experienced Practice Manager who has gained invaluable experience as a Legal Executive Assistant and Office Administrator with Amissah, Amissah & Co.

She joined the firm with more than ten years experience working as the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director of Ghacem Limited, who also doubles as the Consul General of the Norwegian Consulate in Ghana.

She is highly experienced in Immigration duties and also capable of efficiently assisting our attorneys in processing even the most complex immigration cases.

Christine is responsible for Customer/Client Care, Marketing and Client Development Activities, Management of Finances, Facility Management as well as all the attendant and associated functions of running the Practice.
